Glyphosate-free solution for treating tree stumps
Part of the popular SBK range, SBK Tree Stump Killer kills tree stumps and their roots to prevent regrowth. It can also be used on woody weeds and hardwood saplings.
A glyphosate-free option, SBK Tree Stump Killer is a soluble concentrate which should be used for the treatment of tree stumps during autumn and winter, avoiding April, May and June when the sap is rising.
SBK Tree Stump Killer:
- One 250ml concentrate can treat up to eight stumps
- Kills at the root to prevent re-growth
- Suitable for use on tough weeds.
SBK Tree Stump Killer is intended to be used in grassland and non-crop areas. Avoid planted areas and if using for woody weeds, apply from June to August when the soil is moist and weeds are actively growing.
Dependent on the hardiness of weeds or tree stump, a repeat application may be required after six weeks. Apply a maximum of two applications per season and allow at least six weeks between application and replanting.
The diluted concentrate can be painted, sprayed or applied with a watering can. Both children and pets can be allowed onto the treated area once dried.

Click & Collect
Handy Household is currently offering a click and collect service from our store in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Almost all orders are processed the same day for collection unless otherwise stated, however Handy Household reserves the right to process orders for collection within 1 to 2 business, (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order is ready.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup Handy Household after placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up the same day unless otherwise stated on the product or at checkout. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 9:15 – 5:15 (Monday-Friday) and 10:15 – 3:45 on (Sundays) we are open 7 days a week. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Returns of any kind are processed the same as an in-store purchase, we accept returns up to 30 days after purchase, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount.
