Traditionally grown in pots, Japanese maples and acers bring year-round, vibrant rich colour, which requires a balanced liquid feed to help maintain their striking foliage.
An easy-to-use alternative to a granular feed, Vitax Liquid Acer Feed contains a tailored mix of nutrients to help encourage strong growth and produce that stunning, colourful foliage associated with Japanese maples and acers.

Ideally suited for use with peat-free compost or free-draining growing media, Liquid Acer Feed can be used with plants grown in borders, pots or containers.
Sensitive to drought, in extremely warm conditions, feeding should be increased to prevent plant stress.
Applied every two weeks to prevent drying out, Liquid Acer Feed is cost -effective – a one-litre bottle of Liquid Acer Feed will make up to 50 watering cans.
Once diluted, it can be applied around the base of the tree during April to September.
How to use
1 cap filled to the top = 20 ml. Mix 1 capful of Vitax Acer Feed into 6 litres of water. Thoroughly water the solution into the soil around the base of the plants. Feed every 14 days from April to September.
Tip: Acers are sensitive to drought and in dry conditions, should be watered regularly between feeds.

Click & Collect
Handy Household is currently offering a click and collect service from our store in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Almost all orders are processed the same day for collection unless otherwise stated, however Handy Household reserves the right to process orders for collection within 1 to 2 business, (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order is ready.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup Handy Household after placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up the same day unless otherwise stated on the product or at checkout. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 9:15 – 5:15 (Monday-Friday) and 10:15 – 3:45 on (Sundays) we are open 7 days a week. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Returns of any kind are processed the same as an in-store purchase, we accept returns up to 30 days after purchase, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount.
