Natural soil and lawn conditioner
A naturally occurring soil conditioner, Calcified Seaweed is a red seaweed which grows on the seabed in a coral-like structure.
Once applied to soil, Calcified Seaweed quickly breaks down and gradually releases calcium, magnesium carbonate and other trace elements.
Calcified Seaweed:
- Breaks down heavy soil
- Improves soil structure
- Long lasting, apply once every three years.
As Calcified Seaweed starts to break down, it sweetens the soil with the increase in microbial activity. It is this activity which helps plants and crops to develop stronger roots, promoting vigorous plant growth.
Organic, Calcified Seaweed will last in the soil for a longer period than finely ground lime leading to a gradual, prolonged effect on a soil’s pH.
Rich in minerals, it neutralises acidic soil and can also be used to dress lawns in early spring to improve soil and grass condition.
To apply to soil, spread over the desired area and lightly rake or hoe in.
How to use
Apply to soils at the rate of 70g per square metre (2 oz per square yard) and lightly work in by hoeing, raking or forking.
Dress lawns in earley spring to improve soil and grass condition.
Do not use with ericaceous/acid-loving plants.

Read the directions carefully before use.
Always wear gloves when gardening.
Store the fertiliser in a dry place away from children, pets and foodstuffs.
Wash hands after use. Product may irritate cut or broken skin.
Do not exceed the recommended application rates.
Avoid the fertiliser lodging on leaves and stems.

In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup Handy Household after placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up the same day unless otherwise stated on the product or at checkout. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 9:15 – 5:15 (Monday-Friday) and 10:15 – 3:45 on (Sundays) we are open 7 days a week. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Returns of any kind are processed the same as an in-store purchase, we accept returns up to 30 days after purchase, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount.
