How to use
Preparations
- Ensure work surfaces are protected as spillages can be difficult to remove, particularly for sensitive surfaces like fabrics. Then, check the materials to be bonded are dry, clean, and free from dust and grease.
- Always point the tube away from you when opening and don’t squeeze.
Application
- When using for the first time, screw down the cap and nozzle tightly to pierce the tube. Remove the cap by unscrewing it and the liquid glue is then ready to use.
- Avoiding skin contact, apply a small amount of Bostik Super Glue Liquid to one surface.
- Press the two surfaces together and hold for a few seconds until the glue sets.
- After use, wipe the nozzle with a cloth and replace the cap. Store the bottle upright to avoid accidental spillages.
How to remove
Had an accident and wondering ‘what removes super glue?’. It’s reassuring to know that most super glues can be difficult to remove as they have good resistance to most oils and solvents, which gives them their ultra strong and long-lasting properties.
As a rule, acetone or rubbing alcohol can very slowly soften set super glue to help remove it. This substance is extremely flammable so take extreme caution with use and follow the product’s instructions. As with all solvents, the acetone should be tested first on a small area.
Storage
Store for up to 12 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original, unopened packaging in a cool, dry place 20-25°C. For long term storage, refrigeration (5°C) is recommended.
Precautions
Protect work surface. Product won’t work on soft plastics like polythene or absorbent surfaces like paper. Don’t use for objects that hold hot foods/liquids or high stress joints.
Bostik Super Glue Liquid has good resistance to most oils and solvents and can be very difficult to remove.
Bostik Super Glue Liquid bonds to skin very quickly and easily. Should this happen, please do not panic. Do not attempt to pull apart as this may damage the skin. If left the bond will loosen within 60 minutes without doing anything. Hot soapy water and gentle peeling will part the bond, this can take 10 minutes.
Acetone will very slowly soften set super glue. Before attempting to use, check that it is safe to use a highly flammable solvent and that the surfaces to which the super glue is adhered are not damaged by the solvent. Do not use acetone or solvents on the skin.

Handy Household is currently offering a click and collect service from our store in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Almost all orders are processed the same day for collection unless otherwise stated, however Handy Household reserves the right to process orders for collection within 1 to 2 business, (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order is ready.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup Handy Household after placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up the same day unless otherwise stated on the product or at checkout. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 9:15 – 5:15 (Monday-Friday) and 10:15 – 3:45 on (Sundays) we are open 7 days a week. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Returns of any kind are processed the same as an in-store purchase, we accept returns up to 30 days after purchase, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount.
