Bostik Soft Plastics Clear Glue is our best flexible plastic glue, perfect for repairing soft plastics such as inflatables, tents, plastic raincoats, waders and many other PVC and vinyl items.
This vinyl glue has an ultra strong, quick drying, water resistant formula and is supplied with a PVC repair patch to make creating your water-resistant seal super easy and efficient. Plus, it dries to a crystal-clear finish so can go undetected on most items.

How to use
For best results, ensure surfaces are dry, clean and free from dust and grease
- Lightly abrade very smooth, shiny surfaces using a fine grade sandpaper. If using this flexible plastic glue on rubber products, you should also lightly roughen the surface using fine grade sandpaper.
- If required, use a peice of the PVC repair patch provided and cut to size.
- Spread an even film of the vinyl glue onto both surfaces.
- Leave until almost dry (about 5 to 10 minutes) then firmly press both surfaces together until bonded.
- Replace cap immediately after use to prevent the adhesive from drying out and becoming unusable.
- Maximum bond strength is achieved after approximately 48 hours.
How to remove plastic glue
You can easily remove wet or dry Bostik Soft Plastics Clear Glue using nail polish remover or acetone. Remember to always test sensitive surfaces before applying solvent cleaners.
Storage
Store for up to 12 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original, unopened packaging under dry conditions within the temperature range of +5°C to +25°C and out of direct sunlight.
Precautions
Bostik Soft Plastics Adhesive is not suitable for silicone, EPDM or similar rubbers. It is not suitable for bonding polyolefin’s e.g. polythene, polypropylene. For best results do not use below 15°C.

Handy Household is currently offering a click and collect service from our store in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Almost all orders are processed the same day for collection unless otherwise stated, however Handy Household reserves the right to process orders for collection within 1 to 2 business, (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order is ready.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup Handy Household after placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up the same day unless otherwise stated on the product or at checkout. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 9:15 – 5:15 (Monday-Friday) and 10:15 – 3:45 on (Sundays) we are open 7 days a week. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Returns of any kind are processed the same as an in-store purchase, we accept returns up to 30 days after purchase, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount.
