With summer in full swing, BBQ season is upon us. To ensure your grill is ready for delicious cookouts, it’s essential to keep it clean. Here’s a simple guide to help you maintain your BBQ in top shape!

 

Gather Your Cleaning Supplies

Before you start, make sure you have the following items:

  • Grill brush or scrubbing pad
  • Mild dish soap
  • Bucket of warm water
  • Sponge or cloth
  • Stainless steel cleaner (optional)
  • Gloves (optional, but recommended)

Pre-Cleaning Preparation

  • Turn Off and Cool Down: Ensure the BBQ is completely turned off and cool to the touch. Disconnect the gas supply if you’re using a gas grill.
  • Disassemble: Take out the grates, drip pan, and any other removable parts. This makes it easier to clean each component thoroughly.

Clean the Grates

  • Scrape Off Residue: Use a grill brush or scrubbing pad to remove any food particles and burnt residue from the grates.

Clean the Exterior
